Features and construction
The hermetically sealed steel tank with corrugated cooling fins isolates the transformer oil from air, preventing oxidation and moisture ingress while dissipating heat efficiently. High-voltage porcelain bushings and low-voltage terminals are mounted on the tank cover, and the structure carries pressure-relief and oil-level protection. The result is stable, low-loss operation with very little routine service.
